We will schedule a time for a Novastar Energy representative to come to your home to perform a FREE site evaluation and consultation and answer any questions about how solar power can work for you and your home or facility. Site evaluations are free of charge and usually take 1 to 2 hours. It is a good opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about how solar power works, the installation process, or any other technical or financial questions.
During this visit, the Energy Consultant will collect enough information needed to generate a proposal for either a turnkey installation or the preparation of a design package. Novastar Energy, LLC offers turnkey, grid–tied solar power systems for commercial, residential and public sector applications.

Novastar Energy, LLC will deliver a proposal to you by email or in person. This proposal will include the initial system design, cost, and amount of the rebate and tax credit. Proposals can also include a simulation of your expected electrical usage, cash flow calculations, payback calculations, and projected billing with your new solar power system. This will allow you to determine how much you will save on your bills and what your bills will look like after the installation. In the case of a design proposal, the proposal will outline the scope of work, and estimated cost of the design work.

When you decide to move ahead with the project you will then sign a contract with Novastar Energy, LLC. From here, we will take care of everything. This includes system design, permitting, construction, inspections, utility interconnection and rebate application/collection. All administrative services involving government incentives, utility interconnection and building department permitting are included in the sale and installation process. We bill you at the post-rebate contract amount, effectively financing part of your system until the rebate is paid in those areas that have a rebate incentive.
Installation can commence once a contract has been signed, city permit obtained and materials procured. Residential installation times range from 3 days to 4 weeks, depending on system size and complexity.
After installation is complete, your system will be inspected by the governing municipality and your utility company. Novastar Energy, LLC will schedule and attend all municipal inspections, so you will not need to be present. Following your utility inspection, your system will be up and running. Novastar Energy, LLC will provide you with electrical and structural drawings of your new system, along with all owner's manuals, warranties and instructions on how to monitor your system's performance.
